Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past few days, you already know that Kim Kardashian has broken the internet. The latest cover of Paper magazine promised that Kardashian would deliver, and so would her derriere.
Okay, so the internet didn’t technically break, but the magazine did show off Kardashian’s iconic behind in all its shined and polished glory. In some photos, it was even dripping in champagne!
Although many folks out there question whether or not Kardashian has any talent, most people know her from the reality television series Keeping up with the Kardashians and her marriage to Kanye West. We wonder if the two of them ever took a relationship compatibility test.
What does a relationship compatibility test entail? Sure, there are scores of them on the internet (which doesn’t seem to be broken after all) that can help you decide if you and your potential love are really made for each other. But what makes couples truly compatible? It’s probably not an online test.
In order to determine true compatibility, the word itself needs to be defined. Compatibility, in the broadest sense of the word, refers to how well the two of you complement each other and get along. It is important to understand that compatibility is not an all-or-nothing concept. This means that couples should consider how compatible they are rather than simply whether or not they are compatible in the first place.
A good way to determine how compatible you are is to figure out if the two of you share basic values. The more values you see eye-to-eye on, the more compatible you are. Basic values tend to include topics such as religious beliefs, spirituality, financial goals, work ethic, and family values. These are usually the core basic values that hold a relationship together.
Another thing to consider is whether or not you complement each other intellectually. If you aren’t an intellectual match, the relationship could face potential problems. Although you don’t need to have the same IQ, you do need to be able to have stimulating conversations and similar problem-solving skills. When trying to determine how compatible you are, other factors also come into play, including shared interests, temperaments, and how you relate to each other.
You can find a compatibility test online or turn to a relationship counselor for help. Good luck!
